EU citizens might be breathing a sigh of relief at today's Brexit news, but meanwhile the chief of Airbus has had enough of it all – he says the company's out.
What it means: Airbus employs 14,000 people in the UK, with another 110,000 jobs with other companies relying on supplying the firm.
They're not happy with how Brexit is going, and have published a statement saying that if the UK leaves the customs union and single market (the arrangements where trade can carry on without any additional taxes, or 'tariffs'), without an agreement, they'e going to 'reconsider' their investments here.
The cost of having to readjust all their logistics and standards would be too much of a risk for the company, the CEO said. Politicians are saying this should make the Brexit negotiators sit up and get on with it, at risk of the country losing tens of thousands of high-skilled, well-paid jobs.
